International and Domestic Taxation
Eric has been with the firm since 2011. Eric concentrates his practice in the area of U.S. Federal taxes with particular emphasis in the U.S. Federal tax rules applicable to foreign investors and their U.S. investments, and U.S. investors with investments abroad and in domestic and international estate planning for U.S. and foreign individuals, including the design, formation and operation of domestic and foreign trusts. Eric’s representative experience also includes representing U.S. clients participating in the 2009 Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program, the 2011 Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Initiative, and the Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program announced by the Internal Revenue Service on January 9, 2012. Eric also represents clients who intend to expatriate from the U.S. by relinquishing their U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status, as well as clients who intend to immigrate to the United States.
